I have sorted out most of the photos from my trip. Here are a selection of the best ones, the rest are on my Flickr.
Chocolates. Aren't they pretty. By L' Artisan du Chocolat. They were unusual flavours such as thyme and Earl Grey. I liked the sesame one I tried.
Pegwell Bay. Not the most beautiful surroundings to the beach (I think it used to be a hovercraft port) but the sands were interesting.
Heheh. Two indulgences! I have got hooked on re-reading all the Agatha Christies that I read as a teenager. This is the Cardamom and Rosewater icecream that my sister made from the Moro cookbook, SO GOOD. I was searching for the recipe and found a good description here.
Mount Ephraim Gardens. By the water.
Mount Ephraim Gardens. View from the rose garden.
Mount Ephraim Gardens. In the rose garden.
Ramsgate.
Canterbury Cathedral. The ceiling makes me think of the inside of a mouth. It was £7 to get in which was almost put me off going in, but it was worth it to see inside such an interesting and historic building. Evensong was happening so as we walked around we could hear the choir.
A good hoilday.
