We walked from Brighton Beach to Coney Island on an amazingly bleak and dark looking day. It was like being a couple of decades away from Manhattan rather than 45 minutes away on the F train. It was a nice break from the crowdedness of the city and such an unusual place.

Your photos are gorgeous and I'm so jealous of your trip to NYC, it's the most wonderful place I've ever been and my some of my favourite photos are ones I took at Coney Island.

Lucky you! You caught Astroland before it was disassembled... the rocket was recently taken down after almost 50 years!
