1.45pm Cycling to get ingredients.

day 17: formal and hummus

4.13pm Bespoke shoes since 1898. I stopped on my way home to take a picture of this shop because on the way in it had sparked a long train of thought in my mind as to why I don't like men's formal wear as much as a more casual look.

5.09pm Made some hummus. I also made some chickpea burgers and some frozen yoghurt (not pictured).

day 16: yellow frames, book, and t-shirt

5.15pm Finished my book. Scary! I was invited to join a new book group recently. This was my choice for the group this month.

5.17pm Drying washing. A long sleeve t-shirt that I got in the Fred Flare shop in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

7.47pm Playing around with Photoshop brushes and applying them in yellow to pictures I took today :)

day 15: pears

4:43pm Pears from our fruit and veg delivery. I like their little blush. We have turned our heating off, will this be it until next winter ...? Probably not :)

The 2009 Pantone colour is wonderful, so happy and bright.

10:02am I think I am suppressing some kind of cold. Reading the David Austin rose catalogue in bed makes me feel much better though.

day 11: bones

4:22pm On an impulse I popped into the Oxford University Museum of Natural History. I was feeling a bit tired and fuzzy after work and I find places like this help refresh my brain. There were loads of little children just leaving with their parents. This guy was hoovering up after them.

I hope that the 1,2,3,4,5 business is not getting too boring? I must say that already now I have a respect for people who do the 365 challenge! I think I could take a picture every day without problem but my worry would be in taking a picture everyday that I wanted without fail to share. It is pressure. Everyone has off-days now and again right?

I have been taking out things to the garden table to take pictures with my new-old camera, it is actually quite warm and mild here now. Each time I also take a few pictures with my regular camera (like the above), mostly to see the difference but also because I have a small thought that the film might not work and I think it will lessen the blow if that were to happen if I still have digital pictures. These roses are currently living on my bedside table which feels very luxurious to see them just before going to bed and on waking up. They are fairtrade roses which also makes me feel better than if they were from an unknown source.

Just earlier I came across the most hilarious thing that is really for the person who has everything... a bag for carrying around your sea bass :) Maybe fishermen/women are more sophisticated than I thought? The ones that I know just would use a smelly old bucket. I was actually on that site looking at this gardening apron and wondering if I should have such a thing? Normally I change into an old plaid shirt and some trousers with too many holes to wear in public. Is there gardening fashion?

Also another pretty thing, well many pretty things actually, here at Yellow Owl Workshop. I love it all but particularly the stamps and this clever card. They say the stamps are at Magma for any Londoners. Oh Magma, it is a shop that makes me wish I was a millionaire, I would get one of everything.
