These photos are from a few months ago, I was sorting through my folders and came across them and thought they deserved a chance. Thank you to Super Cute Kawaii for inviting me to be a guest picker today. It was fun looking through all my Etsy favourites and my shopping bookmarks for the cutest things possible.
I was tagged by Lea! Thank you Lea. Here are the rules:
1. Respond and rework. Answer the questions on your blog, replace one
question you dislike with a question of your own invention.
2. Tag eight other un-tagged people.
What is your current obsession?
I just got my first set of film photos back!!!! I will share them as soon as I get access to Simon's scanner. I am also obsessing over bikes as I may need to get another one. I have been going around checking out what people are riding and talking to bike shop owners. When I know more what I am going to do I will post about it :) In my other free moments I am also day dreaming and planning my proposed trip to Japan later in the year with Simon and my sister. My dad and aunt will be there too so hopefully it will be a big adventure with seeing family and traveling around. I have not been there in 5 years so I am interested as to what has changed. I need to step up my language learning too.
What are you wearing right now?
Black trousers, a grey hooded zip up sweater, and a red cotton top that I altered this morning. I was feeling like I had nothing suitable to wear to work that I hadn't worn 1 million times before so I got out a top that I didn't wear much because it had these annoying straps making a bow on the back and snipped them off. Much better.
Do you nap a lot?
I feel like life is rushing by and I want to use every moment to it's maximum so I don't tend to nap. I also am lucky in that I don't need that much sleep.
Who was the last person you hugged?
Simon. Someone pointed out that I always do some three pats on the back as well as a hug, I had no idea I was doing it until it was said :) an 'Alice hug' they called it.
If you were a tree, what tree would you be?
An apple tree.
What’s for dinner?
We had halloumi, I heated it in a dry pan until it browned. Very tasty. We had some leeks and potato with it.
What was the last thing you bought?
Soup at work from the canteen. I tend to have soup for lunch. It is always a rollercoaster of culinary emotion as sometimes it is a repulsive watery grey punishment soup but then on other days it is the most delicious concoction and is like choirs of soup angels are singing. But that makes it all the more interesting ;) Today it was a delicious golden vegetable.
What are you listening to right now?
The news on the radio. I was wondering it I follow the news too much? Especially when it is all doom and gloom? Maybe I should cut down. I like to know what is going on though, hmm. Oh wait now Simon has put on music.
What is your favourite weather?
Clear blue skys, hot or cold.
What’s on your beside table?
My glasses for when I have my contact lenses out and want to read in bed, books about cycling adventures by Joise Dew as I was thinking of doing a cycling adventure, a Lonely Planet book on Tokyo, hand cream, a dish of recently worn jewelry, a paper mache lucky cat that my father bought my grandfather and that I inherited, a card from Simon, a Camilla Engman print in a frame, a red lamp, a spray of cherry blossom fairy lights, a Totoro wooden alarm clock that I have had for ever. Wow really that sounds more than it looks!

Hello Lea, I love your photographs and blog :)
If you could have a house totally paid for, fully furnished anywhere in the world, where would you want it to be?
A big old house with a big garden somewhere nice here in Oxford. Or maybe a big new house if we could design it ourselves.
Favourite vacation spot?
Berlin is one of my favourite places to visit but also I like the grand adventures of going outside Europe.
Name the things you can’t live without.
My family and Simon. Oh and a nice cup of an interesting tea!
What would you like to have in your hands right now?
Lots of money so that I could do everything that I wanted to do :)
What is your favourite tea flavour?
Sencha green tea and camomille.
What would you like to get rid of?
A mouse in the attic. We think we got it but it might have friends...
If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go?
I like this question. I was feeling a bit torn as I would like to go and visit one of my family but as they are in so many different places it would be to hard to decide between them, plus I will be seeing them all soon. So instead I would like to go to a tropical beach somewhere and walk about a bit in the shallows. I am not really a beach holiday type person but if it is only for an hour it would make a nice change.
What is your favourite snack?
A square or two of dark chocolate.
