Taste:
- Agave nectar. I am trying out some recipes.
Sight:
- The heartbreaking and beautifully shot film Nobody Knows. Have you seen Cathy Come Home? Even though the situation, details, and country are quite different the central idea reminded me of that. I guess it is trauma happening to people through no fault of their own?
Touch:
- The leaves of our new Palm in the garden.
Smell:
- Fresh air inside! I love being able to open the windows in the afternoon. It is still too cold in the morning.
Hear:
- A robin and the blackbirds. There are examples of their songs here.

i've read somewhere that jason mraz uses agave nectar for his avocado mousse, and that's how i learned about agave nectar. also i remember watching that film nobody knows in a theater in canada, and the guy sitting near us was literally sobbing. it's that kind of film, isn't it.
have a great weekend! (i'm off to kyoto!)

I echo your comments on fresh air. We've been sleeping with our skylight open - Mmm.
The boy and i are planning a jaunt to Oxford this Saturday or Sunday. Am i right in thinking you're a native? I wondered whether you had any 'must see' tips that you could pass my way? Apologies for using your comment box, but i couldn't find a 'contact me', or equivalent, link! {hedaflint@homail.com}. Thanks!

oh! I'm so glad Debbie recommended milk eggs chocolate, my food blog! I've been experimenting with agave nectar for awhile and found it to be really satisfying.
