Salt and pepper? Hah! Where I live, avocados are treated as a sweet treat. We usually eat them mashed with sugar and a little bit of lime juice. Another favorite is a smoothie type of thing, made by blending avocados, sugar, milk and a few drops of lime juice.
Although I *have* had avocados as savory food (such as guacamole), I found it extra unusual for someone to have it with just salt and pepper :)
Your kittens are lovely, by the way!

I love it with salt and pepper but on a nice thick toasted heel of whole grain bread

somebody told me it's a good idea to add olive oil when you eat avocados. but as a japanese, i also love eating one with a bit of soy sauce and wasabi.

Wow I have never had avocado sweet or with soy sauce and wasabi! I will give these things a go next time. I do like having it on whole grain bread though :)
